“Live is life” is the journey of five friends who find themselves: the child who discovers the adult, and the adult who refuses to stop being a child.

The shooting of this production took part in different locations around Galicia and Barcelona. The film has been directed by Dani de la Torre.

The story focuses on a group of five boys in the mid-80s who try to fulfill their dreams on the night of San Juan in a small town in Galicia.

Live is Life is a project by Atresmedia Cine, 4 Cats Pictures and Live is Life AIE.

Warner Bros. Pictures Spain will be in charge of distributing the film in Spanish theaters in 2021.

Synopsis

Summer 1985. As every year, Rodri leaves Catalonia and returns to his family village in Galicia, to meet up with his gang. However, this year is different for him and his friends. Real world problems begin to appear in their lives threatening to tear them apart. Holding on to the friendship that binds them together, the five friends plan to escape on the night of San Juan  in search of a magical flower that, according to a legend, grows on top of a mountain and can make wishes come true. Their only wish now is to solve the problem of their friend in trouble and thus be able to continue together. An adventure that will make them grow through a fascinating way full of action, excitement and hope, and which will leave in their memories that summer in which “Live is Life” sounded in the background.
