Tadeo Jones 2: El secreto del rey Midas‘ es la nueva película que presenta el director español de producciones animadas Enrique Gato, acompañado en esta ocasión por el codirector David Alonso, y que será estrenada en México el 4 de enero de 2018.
La historia presenta el reencuentro del albañil “Tadeo Stones” con su amiga la arqueóloga “Sara Lavroff”, quien ha hallado “el papiro de Midas” que señala la existencia del collar del rey que, según la leyenda, todo lo que tocaba se convertía en oro, según se aprecia en un tráiler.
El malvado “Jack Rackham” secuestra a “Sara” y para su rescate exige a “Tadeo” entregarle el mapa con la ubicación del collar, con el fin de obtener las tres piezas de ese ornamento y que le permitiría conseguir el poder del legendario monarca, “el toque de Midas” para convertir todo lo que quiera en el costoso metal.
“Las aventuras de Tadeo Jones” es una película presentada en 2012 que se convirtió en el filme español de animación más taquillero en la historia de la cinematografía hispana y por la que Gato obtuvo un premio Goya.
Ahora Gato, también director de la cinta “Atrapa la bandera”, se acompaña de Alonso y juntos presentan esta nueva cinta infantil, “Tadeo, el explorador perdido 2. El secreto del rey Midas”, que será estrenada en México el 4 de enero de 2018, se informó en un comunicado.
