The film addresses current themes such as loneliness and self-deception, combining humor and emotion to offer an honest look at digital vulnerability, the need for affection, and the desire to believe.<\/p>\n<p>Filming is taking place <strong>in various locations in the Principado de Asturias<\/strong>, including the Historic Building of the University of Oviedo, the Milan Campus and the Calatrava Building, the historic center of Avil\u00e9s, and the Niemeyer Center, which will become key settings in the protagonist&#8217;s universe. Filming will move to <strong>Bogot\u00e1, Colombia,<\/strong> in November.<\/p>\n<p>The Professor is a production by <strong>Atresmedia Cine<\/strong>, <strong>Gonita<\/strong>, <strong>4 Cats Pictures<\/strong>, and <strong>Una nueva comedia AIE<\/strong>, in co-production with <strong>Vaya Films<\/strong> (Colombia), with the participation of <strong>Atresmedia<\/strong> and <strong>Netflix<\/strong>, and funding from the <strong>ICAA<\/strong> and the <strong>Community of Madrid<\/strong>.
