He completed his studies at the UCLA Extension Screenwriting Program.<\/p>\n

Since then, Jordi Gasull has been involved in numerous film writing, development and production projects. As Development Director at Esicma, and later the Vice-President of Creative Affairs at Columbia Films Producciones Espa\u00f1olas, he supervised the development and production of films including\u00a0Di que S\u00ed\u00a0(\u201cSay Yes\u201d)<\/strong>\u00a0by Juan Calvo (2004),\u00a0Melissa P<\/strong>\u00a0by Luca Guadagnino (2006) and\u00a0Salir Pitando\u00a0<\/em>(\u201cBlinkers\u201d)<\/strong>\u00a0by \u00c1lvaro Fern\u00e1ndez Armero (2007). Gasull was also co-scriptwriter on films such as\u00a0Son & Moon: Diario de un Astronauta\u00a0<\/strong>by Manuel Huerga (2010) and Eduard Bosch\u2019s\u00a0Mira la Luna\u00a0<\/strong>(\u201cLook at the Moon\u201d<\/strong>, 2009) and\u00a0El Viaje de Ari\u00e1n\u00a0<\/strong>(\u201cAri\u00e1n\u2019s Journey\u201d, 2000).<\/p>\n

From 2008 to 2013 he worked for El Toro Pictures S.L, where he wrote and produced\u00a0Lope<\/strong>, by Andrucha Waddington (2010),\u00a0Bruc<\/strong>\u00a0by Daniel Benmayor (2010) and the great critical and box-office success\u00a0Tad, the Lost Explorer<\/strong>\u00a0(2013), the winner of the Goya Award for the Best Animated Film and for which he was an awarded a Goya for the Best Adapted Screenplay.<\/p>\n

2015 saw the premiere of\u00a0Atrapa la Bandera\u00a0(\u201cCapture the Flag\u201d)<\/strong>\u00a0which he co-wrote with Javier Barreira and Neil Landau, while in 2017,\u00a0Tad the Lost Explorer and the Secret of King Midas<\/strong>\u00a0was released, a film on which he featured as producer and scriptwriter.<\/p>\n

In the summer of 2018 he premiered\u00a0El Pacto<\/strong>\u00a0by David Victori, film of which he is a producer.\u00a0In 2020 he produced\u00a0Malasa\u00f1a 32<\/strong>\u00a0by Alberto Pint\u00f3\u00a0and\u00a0El verano que vivimos<\/strong>\u00a0by Carlos Sedes. In 2022 he also produced Live is life. La gran aventura<\/strong>\u00a0by Dani de la Torre.<\/p>\n

In 2023 \u201cMummies<\/strong>\u201d is released worldwide, an animated film of which Jordi Gasull is a producer and co -author of the script created from a story by Jordi. In 2024 \u201cBuffalo Kids\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>will be released, of which Jordi is also producer and co-author of the script.<\/p>\n
